World and Commonwealth champion Ross Wilson is a member of the GB Para Table Tennis Performance Squad and a two-time Paralympic medalist.

He was a National U12 & U14 doubles champion until being diagnosed with multiple epiphyseal dysplasia. After joining the GB Para Table Tennis Team in 2011 he won team bronze in London 2012 and reached the sem-finals in the men’s class 8 singles at the age of 17 & was world ranked #2 but was then side-lined for two years through injury.

He came back in 2015 to take team bronze at the Europeans and earn selection for the Paralympic Games in Rio where he overcame further injury problems to win team bronze in the men’s 6-8 event. In April 2018 he won gold in the men’s class 6-10 event at the Commonwealth Games in Australia and in October he defeated the double Paralympic champion from China to win the men’s class 8 World title. Still only 23, Ross is now focused on Tokyo in 2020.
